- AI certificate reading
- up to 300 certificates a month per account, 50 a day, 30 during the free trial. Over the limit, you type the details in yourself.

- PDF, PNG, JPEG and HEIC (iPhone) photos, up to 15 MB each.
- Links
- Links sent to GCs work for 30 days; upload links sent to subs work for 14 days.
What it doesn't do
- Not included
- Not an insurance agent or broker: TradeOwed doesn't sell insurance, issue certificates or give coverage advice. Your agent and carrier decide coverage.
- No QuickBooks, Procore or other accounting/project-management integration.
- No text-message (SMS) reminders: reminders and links go by email.
- Built for US businesses: prices in US dollars, US documents such as the W-9.
How data is handled
- Files
- Private storage in a folder per company; files open only through links that expire within 5 minutes.
- W-9s
- Stored as files only. The taxpayer ID or Social Security number is never read, saved in the database, logged or sent to the AI.
- AI
- Certificates you choose to have read are sent to the AI provider's business API to pull out dates, carriers and limits; you check them before saving.
- Companies kept apart
- Every record belongs to one company account, enforced by the database.
- Payments
- Handled by Stripe; card numbers are never seen or stored.
